About PR255
History
Pyrrole scarlet is a DPP pigment, part of the family introduced from the 1980s onward.
In mixes
A warm, bright scarlet, semi-opaque, mixing clean oranges with yellows.
Drying speed is typical for linseed oil; tubes ground in safflower or poppy oil, or with driers added, will differ. These are general notes on the pigment, not on any one brand.
