About PBk6
History
Lamp black is carbon soot, one of the oldest pigments of all.
In mixes
A cool, very strong black. Greys with white lean blue, and a little goes a long way.
Drying speed is typical for linseed oil; tubes ground in safflower or poppy oil, or with driers added, will differ. These are general notes on the pigment, not on any one brand.
