About PY53
History
Nickel titanate is an industrial mixed-metal oxide pigment from the mid-20th century.
In mixes
A pale, opaque, cool yellow with low tinting strength. Very lightfast; useful for soft, light tints.
Drying speed is typical for linseed oil; tubes ground in safflower or poppy oil, or with driers added, will differ. These are general notes on the pigment, not on any one brand.
