About PR264
History
Pyrrole rubine is one of the DPP family introduced from the 1980s onward.
In mixes
A deep, cool, transparent crimson, often used as a lightfast alternative to alizarin.
Drying speed is typical for linseed oil; tubes ground in safflower or poppy oil, or with driers added, will differ. These are general notes on the pigment, not on any one brand.
