About PR209
History
A later quinacridone, giving a warmer red than PV19 or PR122.
In mixes
Transparent, warm and clean, useful for glazes and for clean orange-reds with yellow.
Drying speed is typical for linseed oil; tubes ground in safflower or poppy oil, or with driers added, will differ. These are general notes on the pigment, not on any one brand.
